Cruise ship brings 3,000 tourists to Bahrain

Three-thousand tourists arrived on the cruise ship Aida which docked at Khalifa Bin Salman Port yesterday.

They were welcomed by the Police Band which performed national and international music, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Director of Exit Security Colonel Maher Buali said Bahrain has seen a surge in the number of tourists this season with the arrival of 17 cruise ships.

He said 190,248 visitors arrived through maritime ports; 89,056 through Khalifa Bin Salman Port and 101,192 through Mina Salman port. - TradeArabia News Service
