Salalah Rotana Resort appoints new GM

Rotana, a leading hotel management company in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Eastern Europe, has appointed Claudio Melli as the general manager of the newly launched five-star Salalah Rotana Resort in Dhofar.
Melli has been leading the team through the crucial pre-opening phase and will head the operations of the property to shape the future of the resort from its inauguration, as well as setting a new standard and benchmark for hospitality in the region.
He brings with him more than 20 years of experience in the global hospitality industry, having worked across the globe and headed operations for accomplished names like IHG, Starwood, Raffles and Hilton.
Omer Kaddouri, Rotana’s president and CEO said the opening of the new Salalah property is a realisation of Rotana’s strong commitment to Oman.
