New sales director Millennium Airport Hotel

Dubai, April 30, 2014

The award-winning Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai has appointed Egyptian-national Hossam Nabil as its new director of sales and marketing.

Nabil brings with him 18 years’ UAE experience within the hospitality industry, having held senior sales and marketing positions with leading hotel brands such as the Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG), Time Hotels and Rotana Hotels.

Nabil joins the hotel at a time when it is in the final stages of completing a major expansion project which has already delivered 150 new superior rooms and 75 new club rooms. When added to the hotel’s original inventory of 115 rooms, brings the total to 341 bedrooms an increase of almost 200 per cent.

“Predominantly Hossam’s role will be to market the hotel to the local corporate and leisure travellers. During the holiday periods, we now have a very attractive proposition for the GCC and international leisure market - new interconnecting rooms, a large pool area, five minutes from Wafi City or Deira City Centre,” said Simon Moore, general manager, Millennium Airport Hotel Dubai.

The hotel has also completed a new swimming pool terrace capable of hosting receptions for up to 1,000 guests and progress is also being made on a range of new food and beverage outlets, a spa and a new ballroom.

“Once the new convention centre is open, we will be able to compete more effectively for MICE business, as our facilities will be able to accommodate up to 550 delegates,” added Moore.  - TradeArabia News Service
