Oman Air moves to new Doha airport

Muscat, May 22, 2014

Oman Air will move its Qatar operation from Doha International Airport to the newly opened Doha Hamad International Airport today (May 22).

The move follows the new airport’s soft opening on April 30 and most of the airlines currently flying from Doha International Airport will, over the next few weeks, be accommodated at the new, state-of-the-art facilities, said a statement.

The change of location means that Oman Air’s services from Muscat to Doha will now arrive at the new Hamad International Airport, giving passengers the opportunity to be amongst the first to experience the dramatic new development, it said.

Oman Air operates up to eight flights a day between Muscat and Doha, with further flights available as a result of its codeshare with Qatar Airways.

Further information will be provided, and appropriate arrangements will be made, for passengers connecting with airlines which have yet to make the move to the new location, it said. - TradeArabia News Service
