RJ adds 2 flights on Amman-New York route

Amman, June 1, 2014

Royal Jordanian, the flag carrier of the kingdom, is set to add two weekly flights to New York during June and July, bringing the number of scheduled flights operating on this route to six weekly.

The two extra flights will be run via Montreal every Monday and Thursday, said a statement.

The most recent step is taken to serve the growing number of passengers flying on the Amman-New York route during the peak summer season.

The four weekly flights to New York’s JFK will rise to five weekly in August, said the statement.

RJ operates frequent direct flights between Amman and North America using its wide-bodied A330 and A340 aircraft, including daily flights to Chicago and two weekly flights to Detroit, in addition to the flights to New York and Montreal. - TradeArabia News Service
