Four Seasons Beirut appoints sales director

Four Seasons Hotel Beirut has announced the appointment of Maha Bourachi as its new director of Sales and Marketing.
Bourachi has held various sales and marketing positions at the Intercontinental Phoenicia Beirut, starting in early 2000 as a catering manager before moving to conference services manager, sales manager and finally director of Sales for the hotel, heading the sales and marketing department until mid-2008.
In September 2013 Bourachi was lured to the operations side of the business and moved to the Holiday Inn Dunes hotel as general manager, where her sales and marketing background and passion for the hotel business came in handy in quickly making a difference to the occupancy rate of the hotel.
“It’s a true reverence to Beirut’s thriving hospitality scene that we are able to allure a market connoisseur and a proficient hotelier in the country. She knows the city’s how’s and do’s very well and has got a great amount of preserved passion and spirit to continue the Four Seasons path in being the best in the city,” says Stefan Simkovics, general manager at Four Seasons Hotel Beirut.
“Maha Bourachi’s appointment is set to take the Sales and Marketing department to a preeminent level, in sales, revenue, event and catering management and public relations,” he added.
Maha replaces former director of Sales and Marketing, Huda Malhas, who has recently moved to the Corporate Office in Dubai as director of Marketing Communications for EMEA. – TradeArabia News Service
