Golden Sands showcases Dubai tourism in Europe

Golden Sands Hotel Apartments, a part of AA Al Moosa Enterprises and pioneered the concept of hotel apartments in the region, showcased the major tourism development in Dubai at a roadshow held across three major European cities recently.
The roadshow, organized by the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and co-sponsored by GSHA, offered an ideal holiday getaway to people looking for budget hotel accommodation in the emirate, said a statement.
The five-day roadshow was rolled out in Paris, Zurich, and Milan and attended by major tour operators, it said.
Mohammad Khoori, general manager, Golden Sands Hotel and Apartments, said: “We made a presentation to around 120 guests in each city, and the interest we received for our hotel apartments was overwhelming. It was the first time they heard about Golden Sands Hotel Apartments but they were all interested in the services and facilities we offer to visitors in Dubai.”
The UAE has been keen to boost European tourism, which is already growing rapidly. The number of European visitors in Dubai more than doubled between 2002 and 2012, according to government statistics.
Last year, Dubai’s top visitor source markets included five EU countries, such as the UK (ranked 3rd), Germany (ranked 7th), France (ranked 14th), Italy (ranked 17th) and the Netherlands (ranked 20th).
“While our initiative is driven by this increased demand, we have been continually enhancing the value of our established businesses. We also seek opportunities to expand our portfolio and we always raise the bar for our operational efficiency.
