Desert Gate to extend services to Oman

Desert Gate, a leading luxury travel group in the region, is set to extend its services to Oman this month, following the launch of its offices in UAE recently.
The group will release its ‘prime’ excursions later this year sharing services and a wealth of knowledge with international markets.
Desert Gate’s city tours in Dubai include the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall, followed by premium fine dining experiences.
The ‘Discover Dubai’ tour starts with a stop at the Dubai Creek before passing by the heritage are of Bastakiya with its towered houses built by wealthy merchants. Guests will then visit the Al Fahidi Fort, the Dubai Museum, after which they will board an Abra – a traditional wooden boat – and travel across the creek to visit the Spice Market and Gold Souk.
Shoppers can find some of the finest jewellery in town before visiting Treasures House for an exclusive private fashion show followed by a visit to Bait Al Banat Woman’s Museum, the Jumeirah Mosque and the legendary Burj Al Arab hotel.
The group presents international companies with tailor-made services and offer a selective choice of excursions ranging from gastronomical journeys to thrilling adventures sightseeing or outings and fun packed children’s itineraries.
The ‘Heritage Safari’ tour will escort the visitor in a classic 1950’s open top land rover across the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, where they can witness the local wildlife and spot falcons soaring overheard. The Bedouin Royal Desert Retreat will feature the local culture including dance, music, the art of traditional Arabic coffee and bread making besides partaking in henna tattoos.
The ‘Seaplane Emirates Palace Experience’ will take the visitor to Abu Dhabi. From the sky one can observe traditional dhows gently sailing across the creek, UAE skyline and spy rare aerial views of the iconic Palm Jumeirah and World Islands.
