Top event to showcase Mena’s hospitality industry

Dubai, July 27, 2014

A leading exhibition to be held in Dubai will showcase the investment, design and build through to refurbishment, fit out and operations of hotels, restaurants, leisure destinations and resorts.

The Hotel Show will run from September 28 to 30 at the Dubai World Trade Centre and will be supported by official headline media partners Hotelier Middle East and Caterer Middle East.

Christine Davidson, event director, said: “While we have been at the heart of the industry for 15 years, we also look forward to the dynamic opportunities that the market here has to offer the international supplier base.

“The Hotel Show is now established as not just an exhibition but an annual meeting place for sourcing, networking, and education and it makes sense for us to partner with the leading hospitality publisher for this region to ensure we deliver our show message direct to hospitality decision makers, owners and buyers.

“Remaining one of the fastest growing regions worldwide with forecasts of growth of three per cent up to 2016, we focus on being the event that brings real business opportunities to all who participate.”

The show will also feature an International Village dedicated to country pavilions for international brands.

The ‘Vision 2014,’ the high-level conference that attracts the regions and world’s influencers and thought leaders, will focus on dynamic issues and trends over three days of free events.

There will also be a Career and Training Zone, The Sustainable Build, and Architectural Design Feature in addition to a networking, a product launch stage, buyer’s club lounge and new outdoor and leisure section.

“The Hotel Show could have a serious impact on an order book - more than $860 million was spent by participants last year with an expected spend of almost $4 billion for the year ahead,” said Davidson.

“The event is located in a healthily growing marketplace and that is about to get significantly bigger with major projects and developments for Expo 2020 in Dubai, The World Cup 2022 in Qatar, and massive room expansion in Saudi Arabia and Africa,” he added. - TradeArabia News Service
