Deyaar, a leading local and regional real estate developer and real estate services company in Dubai, UAE, is considering moving into the hospitality business, a report said.

The real estate developer is currently studying a proposal to take on the additional role of being a hotel operator for its future projects, the Arab News report said.

A feasibility study is being done to determine whether it will make business sense for the company to make such a move. “Doing so will create extra income, no doubt, but we have to first make sure that such a role will be one we can good at,” Saeed Mohammad Al Qatami, CEO, was quoted as saying. “We are meeting consultants and the near future should see us taking a decision.”
