Grohe makes a splash at Qatar’s Kempinski

DOHA, September 30, 2014

Grohe, one of the world’s leading providers of sanitary fittings, said it has won a contract from a five-star hotel in Qatar for the supply of its innovative design faucets and water fittings.

The 281-room Marsa Malaz Kempinski is being developed by Alfardan Hospitality in co-operation with Kempinski Hotels. It will also boast 69 suites as well as two Presidential and two Royal suites.

The upcoming hotel, located at the Pearl-Qatar, is one of the biggest projects in Qatar and is slated for opening in the fourth quarter of 2014.

Grohe will be supplying the hotel’s wide-ranging facilities with hi-tech products and the most advanced water solutions to match the outstanding luxury standards set by the hotel, said a statement from the sanitary leader.

The hotel’s faucets will be fitted with the signature Grohe Sinfonia- nostalgic designs mixed with the minimalistic and easy-to-use Grohe Essence range, it stated.

In addition, the showers will have showerheads stemming from the Rainshower products, and the handshower from the Grohe Ondus collection.

The 3,000-sq-m spa will offer more than 20 treatment rooms, a health club, indoor pool, exclusive female areas, beauty salons, and sauna and steam rooms.

Grohe has already supplied its novel collections for several projects in Qatar including the Oryx Rotana Hotel, the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Sidra Medical and Research Centre, Aspetar Hospital, and other projects in Pearl-Qatar.-TradeArabia News Service
