Ajman will take part in the World Travel Market (WTM) for the first time, which will be held in the British capital London from November 3 to 6.

WTM, a leading global event for the travel industry, presents opportunities for the whole global travel trade to meet, network, negotiate and conduct business.

The delegation, to be led by Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATDD) general manager Faisal Al Nuaimi, will include representative from, Ajman Chamber, Ajman Saray hotel, Kempinski Hotel Ajman, Ramada Hotels and Suites Ajman, Crown Palace hotel and Ewan hotel apartments.

The UAE emirate’s participation in such an important event comes as part of efforts to achieve Ajman Vision 2021, which aims to stabilise the emirate’s image as a distinguished tourism destination, Hind Al Marzooqi, ATDD’s Head of Marketing and Promotion Section said.

ATDD also targets attracting more tourists to Ajman in the coming years, especially European visitors, Al Marzooqi said.

The event, moreover, is considered a good opportunity to review the developments in the various travel sectors and get posted on the latest insights, trends and knowledge serving the rapid development in the establishment of travel agencies, she said. – TradeArabia News Service
