Rotana to expand in Saudi Arabia

JEDDAH, October 27, 2014

Rotana Hotels, a leading hotel management company in the Middle East, has announced its plans to expand across Saudi Arabia, with new projects in Riyadh, Jeddah, Al-Khobar and Dammam.

Omer Kaddouri, chief executive officer of Rotana Hotel Management, said: “Rotana will work to promote the concept of economy hotels, a relatively new concept in the kingdom and which will offer guests a wonderful stay experience at convenient prices while still providing them with the highest standards of hospitality.”

“The announcement of Rotana’s expansion plans comes as we approach the opening of the Rosh Rayhann Hotel by Rotana in Riyadh during the first quarter of 2015,” said Kaddouri.

“Rotana's expansion plans will add a significant number of new hotel rooms to the kingdom’s hospitality sector before the end of 2017 and will provide more than 1,500 jobs for Saudi youth in the hospitality sector. This affirms Rotana’s commitment to training Saudi cadres to enable them to join this thriving sector and enjoy a work environment that stimulates creativity, innovation and excellence,” he said. – TradeArabia News Service
