Gulf Air launches new service with DealBroker

MANAMA, December 3, 2014

Bahrain’s national carrier Gulf Air has launched a new service as part of its strategic partnership with travel technology company DealBroker.

According to the deal, customers who book their Gulf Air flights online now have access to more than 10,000 tours, sightseeing and entertainment activities across the airline's network, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

With DealBroker's real-time, personalised offers firmly integrated into Gulf Air's online booking system, the airline's passengers - in advance of their travel dates - will receive notifications of a variety of tailored, localised offers.

The offers range from sightseeing and entertainment companies at their destination, to airport transfers, guided tours, museums, zoos, mini cruises, restaurants and other activities.Passengers can purchase these offers online in advance of their travel.

Gulf Air acting chief commercial officer Ahmed Janahi said the deal was a realisation of the airline's drive to provide comprehensive travel packages further extending its core business offering.

“We hope our passengers will not only avail of this new service but also share their feedback with us,” he said.

DealBroker chief executive Matthijs Muijser said Gulf Air passengers were now being offered the possibility to book travel activities and airport transfers directly with the delivery of a fully customised promotional email a few days before departure. - TradeArabia News Service
