New phase...include quality visa facilities

Streamlined entry visa plan on track in Bahrain

MANAMA, March 5, 2015

Preparations are in full swing to launch the second phase of streamlined electronic and on-arrival visas in Bahrain next month, the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) announced yesterday.

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, hailed the new scheme during the weekly Cabinet meeting on Monday, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

The leaders also commended the NPRA’s streamlined procedures for businessmen, investors and tourists in line with the government’s drive to promote Bahrain’s openness to visitors arriving through various ports of entry.

The new phase will include quality visa facilities to serve a wide range of visitors.

Under the first phase, streamlined electronic and instant visa procedures were expanded to benefit visitors from 102 countries, up from 38 states. - TradeArabia News Service
