Jumeirah Bodrum Palace...gearing up for heavy tourist inflow

Jumeirah Group gears up for Kuwaiti rush

KUWAIT, June 24, 2015

Jumeirah Group, a Dubai-based luxury hotel company, is expecting large numbers of Kuwaiti travellers this summer as they continue to spend increased amounts on holidays and visits to friends and family within the Gulf region.

Alison Broadhead, chief commercial officer, said: “Kuwait is a prominent outbound tourism market for Jumeirah, particularly in regards to family travel. This upward trend is partly due to Kuwaiti families spending more leisure time in regional tourism hotspots in the UAE.”

“Jumeirah’s properties including Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, Madinat Jumeirah and Jumeirah at Etihad Towers are identified as top tourist destinations and Kuwaitis increasingly look to these hotels for luxury family holidays with a difference. In Dubai, room nights booked by Kuwaiti residents in 2015 increased by 10 per cent year-to-date, whilst globally, room nights booked by Kuwaiti residents showed a 10.8 per cent increase,” she said.

Responding to these strong guest figures, Jumeirah has introduced special summer packages appealing to Kuwaiti families that offer exceptional value across its properties globally. Guests can choose from luxury summer retreats in the city and beach hotels in the UAE and across Europe or a relaxing staycation in Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa, Kuwait.

The “Jumeirah Breaks” package offers room rates starting from Dh495 ($134.7) per night, with complimentary benefits including access to Wild Wadi Water Park. Guests staying between June 7 and September 30 in Jumeirah’s Dubai hotels also enjoy complimentary Careem Chauffeur to the nearest mall.

The summer offer is applicable when guests book any room category at Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, Madinat Jumeirah, Jumeirah Emirates Towers, and Jumeirah Creekside Hotel.

Kuwaiti residents looking to Europe this summer will find fantastic seasonal offers at the recently opened all-suite and villa Jumeirah Bodrum Palace in Turkey. Guests can enjoy one of the hotel’s premium suites from KWD275 ($909) per room per night on a bed and breakfast basis.

In nearby Istanbul, Pera Palace Hotel Jumeirah combines timeless glamour and elegance with genuine Turkish hospitality. Guests can enjoy a rate of KWD108 ($357) per room per night in a Senior, Piano or Presidential Suite on a bed and breakfast basis.

Further north in Germany, Jumeirah Frankfurt, located in the vibrant heart of the city, is offering the Panoramic Suite from KWD130 ($429.8) per night on a bed and breakfast basis as well. Guests at the hotel can enjoy the unique Skyline Honey Treatment at Talise Spa, created by the 60,000 bees that reside on the 28th floor rooftop.

Families opting to stay closer to home can enjoy discounted rates and a wide range of activities and entertainment at the Jumeirah Messilah Beach Hotel & Spa in Kuwait by taking advantage of Jumeirah’s enticing “Summer Flavours” offer.

Available until September 15, the summer promotion is applicable to locals and nationals from the Gulf region travelling to Kuwait with their families. Special rates for Deluxe Room stays start at KWD75 ($248) and Grand Deluxe Room stays start from KWD98 ($324).

Guests booking these offers are entitled to buffet breakfast for two adults, airport transfers, complimentary wi-fi throughout the resort and children’s entertainment in the Sinbad’s Kids Club and The Scene Teens’ Clubs.
