Interel, a leading manufacturer of integrated room technologies in the luxury hospitality industry, has appointed Petvin Fernandes as its senior vice president Middle East, Africa and Indian Ocean.

Fernandes brings with him more than 15 years of international experience, having spent more than a decade in the UAE. He started his career in information technology in his home country, India, after which he moved to Dubai to lead the IT department for the Hilton Dubai Jumeirah and Hilton Dubai Creek hotels for nearly eight years.

Prior to joining Interel, Fernandes held several senior positions for leading hospitality technology vendors in the region, including TeleAdapt and iBAHN.

In his new role, Fernandes will lead the company’s sales and business development in the region.
