DUBAI, August 20, 2015

Louvre Hotels Group, one of the largest hotel groups in the world, has welcomed Rami A Moukarzel as its new vice president for development and acquisitions.

In his new role, Moukarzel will support the group’s president Amine E. Moukarzel in the drive to ensure the group is the leading mid and upscale hotel operator in the Middle East and North Africa region for the long term.

Beginning his career in 2002, Moukarzel was part of the pre-opening task force of the Mövenpick Hotel Beirut, before moving on to food and beverage operations at the Hyatt regency Charles De Gaulle Paris.

His journey across his 13 year career span has seen him hold operational roles at Jumeirah Hotels and Kempinski Hotels before joining FRHI as Director Development EMEA for six years. He subsequently climbed up the corporate ladder to Vice President Development Middle East and Africa prior to his move to Louvre Hotels Group.
