Salalah Rotana Resort, a leading five-star hotel in Oman, has appointed Anjna Poonia as the new director of spa at ‘Zen the spa at Rotana’, the group’s home-grown spa concept derived from ancient holistic Asian philosophies.

An Indian national, Poonia has amassed a wealth of knowledge in spa operations and management over 17 years from countries including India, UAE, Maldives, Malaysia, Egypt and Sri Lanka.

The seasoned professional began her career as a spa therapist at Ananda in the Himalayas, and worked her way to the top, attaining the position of spa manager at the Warwick Hotel, Dubai.

Prior to joining Salalah Rotana Resort, she also trained and worked with international hotel chains of high repute, including Marriot International and Four Seasons Worldwide where she was responsible for managing the spa team, ensuring guest satisfaction, keeping up to date with global spa trends and enhancing the overall spa experience.
