Flag carrier Turkish Airlines has launched flights to Miami, making it the 12th destination in its US network.

“We’re thrilled to name Miami as the newest gateway in the U.S. and proud to serve to one of the most influential tourism centres in the world. Our global network and award-winning service will make international travel easier and more convenient for both business and leisure travellers in this area,” said Turkish Airlines’ chief marketing officer, Ahmet Olmuştur.
 
Miami flights will be operated seven times weekly with round trip fares from Istanbul starting at $599, inclusive of taxes and fees.
 
Additionally, for the first six months of operation to the new destinations, the airline is offering Miles&Smiles members a special 25 per cent reduction in the miles needed to redeem either award tickets or upgrades. – TradeArabia News Service
