ExecuJet celebrates 16 years of ME operations

DUBAI, October 29, 2015

ExecuJet Aviation Group, a leading global business aviation organisation, is celebrating 16 years in the Middle East region coupled with 10 years of maintain, repair and overhaul (MRO) operations.

ExecuJet Middle East, the regional arm of the Swiss-headquartered aviation group, continues to boost its presence in the UAE.

A Bombardier-authorised service facility, the company has been awarded Best Overall Maintenance Facility two years in a row and best International Maintenance Facility now for the fifth consecutive year.

It also specialises in the maintenance of Embraer and Hawker business jets for which it holds original equipment manufacturer (OEM) authorisations.

Currently the Part 145 maintenance organisation supports approvals from 22 different national aviation's authorities including the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and recently obtained US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) under Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) 145, said a company official.

"We have grown tremendously. The ExecuJet entity in the Middle East began in 1999 with just a couple of managed aircraft, but it now employs over 345 people and runs state-of-the-art MRO and FBO facilities at Dubai International Airport and Dubai South," remarked Mike Berry, the executive VP at ExecuJet Middle East.

"We’ve also expanded our FBO network into Riyadh and Istanbul, making a total of four in the region," said Berry.

“We are especially pleased to participate at the Dubai Air Show this year, as we celebrate 16 years in the Middle East. The show is a great opportunity to network and promote our full aviation services in the region, and given the central location of the UAE on the world map, we hope to meet plenty of business people from other regions too.”

ExecuJet is exhibiting at this year’s Dubai Airshow from November 8 to 12 at the Dubai World Central Airport.

Headquartered in Zürich, Switzerland, ExecuJet has operations in six regions – Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East, embracing a workforce of over 1,000 experienced staff.

The ExecuJet Aviation Group manages 165 business jets worldwide under the most stringent safety standards. Its commercial fleet is operated under the regulatory umbrella of seven regional civil aviation issued air operating certificates (AOCs).-TradeArabia News Service
