Ramada Downtown Dubai hires new sous chef

DUBAI, February 15, 2016

Ramada Downtown Dubai, a leading luxury hotel in the UAE emirate, has appointed Raziuddin Dalvi as its new sous chef.

In his new role, Dalvi has been tasked with leading the kitchen team of Kenza all-day dining restaurant and the hotel’s 24-hour room service. 

He will head the day-to-day kitchen operations, and ensure that high quality of food is delivered, both in the taste and presentation. As sous chef, he will be responsible in planning and reinventing the menu and coming up with new recipes to enhance the guests’ dining experience. He will also be in charge controlling food cost in the department by employing the most efficient preparation and food servings.

Prior to his role in Ramada Downtown Dubai, Dalvi was the sous chef at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club. He also worked as chef de partie at Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach Residence, and held various positions at Mina Salam Hotel and Toscana Italian Restaurant, which are both part of Jumeirah Group. He has more than 15 years of hospitality experience in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and his home country, India.
