Onur Onuralp has been named the new director of sales for Fairmont Ajman, a luxurious property in the UAE emirate.

Onuralp brings a wealth of experience to his new role at Fairmont Ajman, having held various positions across leading hotels in the UAE.

His career in the UAE began at the Kempinski Hotel Ajman in 2010, where he worked as sales manager. He then moved to the Rixos team as cluster director of sales for Rixos The Palm, Dubai and Rixos Bab Al Bahr, Ras Al Khaimah in 2012.

Moving ahead, he joined Elite Collection, Dubai, as director of business development in 2014. Prior to his new role at Fairmont Ajman, Onuralp was the associate director of sales and travel trade for Rotana Hotels Area Sales Office, Dubai.

Commenting on the appointment, hotel general manager Henny Schaeffer said: “Onur joins us at a pivotal time as his experience in sales will bring new business for our charming resort.”

In his new role, Onuralp will oversee day to day sales, as well as be responsible for creating new business relationships and potential clients for the property. – TradeArabia News Service
