Hyatt Hotels appoints two new sales directors

DUBAI, April 18, 2016

Grand Hyatt Dubai and Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights have appointed Pranav Vohra and Rajesh Pandita as directors of sales.

Vohra, an Indian national, heads the corporate operations of sales for both properties, while Pandita handles the leisure segment. In their new roles, they will work closely with the synergy sales teams to strengthen the hotels’ strategies across key market segments and implement and achieve the sales targets.

Vohra and Pandita will lead both properties’ strategic campaigns across Grand Hyatt Dubai’s 674 rooms, 16 meeting rooms, and 13 food and beverage (F&B) outlets and Residences, and across Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights’ 464 rooms, 11 meeting rooms, Residences, and five F&B outlets.

Vohra has been working with Hyatt Hotels Corporations since 2005 when he joined Grand Hyatt Dubai as acting team lead of the front office. He became a sales executive in 2006, and in 2012 he was appointed associate director of sales for corporate and leisure markets. In 2013, as director of sales, Vohra was part of the team that opened the first Hyatt Place Dubai Al Rigga, the first Hyatt Place property in the Middle East. Two years later, he was promoted as director of sales and marketing for both Hyatt Place Dubai/Al Rigga and Hyatt Place Dubai/Baniyas Square.

Pandita started working with Hyatt Hotels Corporations in 2009 when he was named associate director of sales for Hyatt Regency Dubai and Galleria. He also handled the pre-opening sales and marketing strategy of Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights in 2014. - TradeArabia News Service
