The Greydon House in Nantucket

Millionth milestone for Booking.com

AMSTERDAM, August 6, 2016

Booking.com, a world leader in booking hotel and other accommodations online, has reached new heights with the addition of the website's one-millionth property.

The soon-to-open Greydon House, in the historic district of the picturesque island of Nantucket, off Cape Cod, Massachusetts, US, became the one-millionth property to be added on Booking.com, joining the world's most diverse array of unique accommodations in over 30 different categories.

"We were thrilled to find out that we're Booking.com's one millionth partner," said Jeff David, manager at the Greydon House. "Inspiring more travellers to visit Nantucket and experience it for themselves is one of the main reasons we're in business. That's why we decided to work with Booking.com in the first place as we know they can help us connect with more customers globally than anyone else."

Having doubled the number of properties on its platform in just two years, Booking.com today offers over one million distinct properties that have over 23 million bookable rooms worldwide, including 7.2 million bookable rooms in homes, apartments, villas and other categories of unique places to stay.

The Booking.com website is available in 43 languages, covering over 93,000 destinations in 224 countries and territories worldwide.  - TradeArabia News Service
