Amwaj Rotana, Dubai adds new members to management team

DUBAI, September 11, 2016

Amwaj Rotana, located along Jumeirah Beach Residence in new Dubai, has appointed three new department heads.

Martina Hauri joins the hotel as its new director of human resources. Hailing from Australia, Hauri has been with the Rotana group for two years as director of human resources in Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana. Commenting on her appointment, she says: “I look forward to a bringing forth my experience with Rotana to a different city in the UAE.”

The second new member of the team is Kamal Haider, who has been appointed as director of front office. Haider is no stranger to the hospitality industry with over 19 years of experience under his belt, having worked in several Rotana properties in the past including Towers Rotana on Sheikh Zayed Road. Haider similarly was part of the pre-opening team at The Westin in Cape Town, South Africa. “Rotana has helped me progress in my career and I look forward to the new challenge that awaits me at Amwaj Rotana, one of our key properties in Dubai”, he said.
 
Amwaj Rotana named Ted Espiritu as its new executive chef. Espiritu brings with him over 21 years of experience having previously worked for Park Rotana in Abu Dhabi, Urban Food Concepts in Switzerland and Marriott Marquis in New York, to name a few.
