Leading property developer Supercasa has signed a lead consultancy services agreement with Archea Architecture and Design Consultants for its new five-star hotel and resort project at Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

The new resort will feature 320 beach-facing rooms in the categories of standard, premium quality and deluxe, with exceptional waterfront views and will be operated by one of the most renowned hotel operator globally.

Supercasa said the design phase will end by the middle of next year and the construction will be completed in 2019.

The project will be situated at the centre of an ample inner harbour that commands spectacular waterfront views and open sandy beaches.

The guests will also enjoy pleasant and diverse dining experiences in two fine dining restaurants and two casual restaurants that the hotel provides. Other amenities include a pool, and a world-class experiential spa and fitness centre.

On the launch, Abdallah Al Houti, the founder and managing partner at Supercasa, said: "Al Marjan Island is the first man-made island in Ras Al Khaimah and the hotel is our debut project in the UAE."

Supercasa said it is working on other mixed-use development projects in Ras Al Khaimah for a total built-up area of more than 15 million sq ft.
