Dubai Culture showcases projects in Berlin

BERLIN, March 17, 2017

A delegation from Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), the emirate’s dedicated entity for culture, arts and heritage, participated in a private event held during the same week as ITB Berlin.

The event was attended by Ali Al-Ahmad, UAE Ambassador to the Federal Republic of Germany, and a number of other VIP guests. Dubai Culture’s delegation included Rafia Sultan Alsuwaidi, projects manager at Dubai Culture, and Khulood Khaled Al Nuaimi, events manager at Etihad Museum.

During the event, Emirati artist Fatima Al Hammadi presented a live performance that captured her love of the UAE and calligraphy in paint. Following the performance, she gifted the painting to Al-Ahmad.

ITB Berlin, the world’s leading travel trade show, took place from March 8 to 12 in Germany, and saw Dubai Culture shedding light on the city’s culture, arts and heritage highlights. - TradeArabia News Service
