New identity for Saraya Bandar Jissah

MUSCAT, April 6, 2017

Saraya Bandar Jissah, Muscat’s Premier resort village, has been rebranded as Muscat Bay, marking a change of major proportion for the integrated tourism complex.

The announcement was made by Omran and Saraya Holding Oman, developers of the project, at a glamorous launch party held at the Muscat Bay Experience Center on site, overlooking the beautiful natural landscape. The event brought together Muscat’s VIPs, media and influencers as well as potential owners and shareholders in order to showcase a “Gateway to a Timeless Community.

The project’s new branding promises a life free from complication and aims to foster a harmonious community for like-minded people while offering a space to breathe and room to grow in an extraordinary setting on the shores of the Gulf of Oman.

Developed to better reflect the project's core ethos and values, considerable time has been spent developing a brand that captures the essence of the project, including its beautiful natural surroundings, harmonious community and effortless living. Following extensive research on the topic of Urban Growth in metropolitan cities such as Oman, responses showed that individuals are looking to reconnect and escape the strains of everyday life in peaceful settings where rejuvenation is possible on daily basis. As one of the region’s most important real estate projects, the new brand positioning fulfills this need and signifies a step further towards completion for the development, which is still on schedule to welcome its first residents in 2017.

Saraya Holding Oman is a subsidiary of Saraya Holdings, a holding company that invests primarily in the real estate, hospitality and tourism industries through its subsidiaries. In addition, government entity Omran drives the project’s investment, growth and development within the rapidly growing tourism sector of Oman. As a master developer of major tourism, heritage and urban development, it has delivered some of the nation’s most iconic projects and directly contributed to the social and economic growth of the Sultanate.

Commenting on the new approach, Paul Jessup, vice president of sales and marketing, said: “We have worked tirelessly to create a brand that we are confident will differentiate Muscat Bay from other communities in the region. Muscat Bay represents a regionally unique enclave where Omani urbanites can relax and feel a world away, without being disconnected due to the city center’s close proximity, less than 15 minutes from downtown. For GCC travellers looking to escape the city buzz, Muscat Bay is the nearer equivalent of an Indian Ocean island. Accessible by a mere one-hour flight it affords visitors the opportunity to indulge in an exotic and breathtaking natural environment with all five-star needs met on your doorstep.”

Sheikh Hamood Bin Sultan Al Hosni, CEO of Muscat Bay, said; “We are thrilled to reveal the branding of our project and the new name Muscat Bay by our special guest of honour, Sheikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Harthy, secretary general of the Council of Ministers. The new brand essence further reflects the project’s ethos and speaks not only to our commitment to the project itself, but also to the surrounding community and unique lifestyle offering.”

“The strategic vision of our world class shareholders has been absolutely vital to our success. Their commitment to positively impacting surrounding communities both from a financial and lifestyle aspect, while supporting local economic growth is not only admirable, but also directly in line with our focus. Omran, whose core philosophies of sustainability and transparency as well as working in close collaboration with our own communities further aligns with our mission.”

A Glimpse Into a Life Better Lived

Situated in a secluded valley and flanked by the majestic Al Hajar Mountains and the Gulf of Oman, Muscat Bay is a peaceful natural haven that offers the best of both worlds – a place to escape the stresses and strains of daily life alongside easy access to modern amenities.

The first phase of this unique resort village, to be completed in 2017, will boast a wide product offering, including an initial 260 exclusive residential units in three residential zones. Each property is crafted from locally sourced, high-spec materials to offer a blend of Omani elegance, modern comfort and privacy while respecting local heritage and connecting residents to the beautiful environment around them.

Muscat Bay’s residences will include Zaha Parkland and Waterfront three and four bedroom villas, large duplexes and one and two bedroom Parkland Residences and Premium Waterfront and Parkland Residences. Nameer Island villas and Wajd Hilltop Palaces, will provide a variety of picturesque views of the flowing lagoon and sweeping seascape beyond, and will overlook the landscaped park below.

A Village Square planned for phase two that sits at the heart of the development will offer an array of community services, providing convenience for residents and cultivating a harmonious community for likeminded people. Internationally renowned luxury hotels and resorts operator, Jumeirah, will also provide two secluded five-star hotels - one resort, opening in 2017 and one boutique, opening in phase two- for the very first time in Oman.

Investing In The Future

With reputable, world-class shareholders and strong investor benefits including strong rental yield and capital growth opportunities, Muscat Bay presents a secure and highly attractive proposition for both investors and homeowners. With solid sales of the Phase One residences underway, the development is Oman’s “untold success story in real estate” and will continue to grow as the project edges closer towards full completion. - TradeArabia News Service
