Sharjah National Hotels posts over 70pc occupancy in H1

Sharjah National Hotels Company, a subsidiary of Sharjah Islamic Bank (SIB), reported an average of more than 70 per cent occupancy during the first six months of 2017, said a report.

The strong half year performance helped the group increase its revenues from last year, recording a one-digit growth in revenue in the first half of 2017 compared to last year, said a report in WAM.

The total income of Sharjah National Hotels Co. for the period from January to June increased by five per cent compared with the same period last year.

The net operating profit increased to more than Dh1 million ($272,175) over the same period in 2016, the report said.
