Jet Aviation opens new FBO facility at Dubai South

DUBAI, November 22, 2017

Jet Aviation, together with its joint venture partner the Al Mulla Business Group, celebrated the opening of its new FBO facility in the shared terminal at Dubai South.

The company hosted a grand opening at the FBO during recently concluded Dubai Airshow.

“We are firmly committed to our customers in Dubai and the region, which our new Dubai South FBO demonstrates,” said Hardy Butschi, vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation’s MRO and FBO operations in Dubai.

“We also continue operating our award-winning MRO and FBO facilities at Dubai International Airport (DXB), and are extending our (DXB) maintenance approvals to support line maintenance services through the Dubai South FBO.”

The event was attended by Jürg Reuthinger, Senior VP & General Manager Aircraft Management & Charter EMEA and Asia of Jet Aviation; and Ibrahim Al Mulla and Khalid Al Mulla from the Al Mulla Business Group.

As business aviation traffic is increasingly channeled through DWC, the upscale 600-sq-m FBO in the shared VIP terminal adds considerable capacity for Jet Aviation to meet customer requirements now and into the future, the company said.

The new state-of-the-art facility features three customer lounges, a conference room, crew lounge and operations centre, two prayer rooms and shower facilities. - TradeArabia News Service
