Fairmont Nile City welcomes Guinness World Records holders

CAIRO, February 6, 2018

Fairmont Nile City partnered with Guinness World Records Official Partner in Egypt hosting the world's tallest man, Sultan Kosen from Turkey – 2.51 meters – and the world's shortest woman, Jyoti Amge from India – 62.8 meters – during their first visit to the country in coordination with the Egyptian Tourism Authority.

Frank Naboulsi, regional vice president and general manager, Fairmont Nile City said: “We are very keen on continuously supporting the tourism industry in Egypt specially when partnering with such a reputable organisation as Guinness World Records. As one of the market leading hotels in the city, it is our responsibility to be part of any initiatives that aim to boost or support the industry in every way possible.”

The press conference was attended by deputy chairman of the Egyptian Tourism Authority, general Ahmed Hamdy, as a representative to the Ministry of Tourism, Guinness World Record Official Partner CEO and regional team; Magdi Gamil, cluster director of sales and marketing – Egypt; previous Egyptian record holders, public figures, and international representatives from foreign broadcasts.
