Plane forced to land over man's excessive flatulence

DUBAI, February 19, 2018

The pilot of a Dubai-Amsterdam flight was forced to make an emergency landing after a fight broke out over a passenger's flatulence problem, said a report.

Transavia Airlines Flight HV6902 made an unscheduled stop in Vienna after passengers attacked an elderly man who refused to control his loud gas emissions, despite being confronted about the "smelly" issue, said a report in Arab News.

The elderly Dutchman and the unhappy passengers who caused the fight were escorted off the plane by Austrian police in Vienna.

None of the individuals were arrested as they had not broken any Austrian laws, the report said.
