DUBAI, April 10, 2018

Sabre Corporation, a leading technology provider to the global travel and tourism industry, will be exhibiting at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM 2018) and sponsoring the technology theatre from April 22-25 at stand #TT1261.

At the event – the largest of its kind in the Middle East – Sabre will also be releasing its latest technology forecast, Sabre Lab 2018 Emerging Technology Report. The annual report focuses on evolving technologies and trends that will impact travel over the next decade, with the main themes of the 2018 report being automation, authenticity and blockchain.

Sabre will also be demonstrating the new Sabre Red Workspace nSRW, a modern platform built around its core global distribution services (GDS) infrastructure to provide more services and faster value to customers. This next-generation travel agency platform includes new decision support tools, predictive data insights and merchandising capabilities that bring agents and suppliers together to create personalised experiences for travellers.

“The Middle East travel industry continues to evolve, powered by high adaptation of latest technologies and significant growth in the online space,” said Raymond Vrijenhoek, vice president, Sabre Travel Network, Middle East. “We see many local travel companies investing in latest technologies and other global players targeting the tech-savvy Middle Eastern traveller. As a global technology company, it is our role to guide our customers through this exciting time and share our global expertise to empower the local market.”

Executive speakers from Sabre and guest customers will also participate in ATM’s extensive conference programme. They will discuss industry challenges and latest technology trends in the travel and hospitality sector, including distribution evolution, online travel, personalisation, emerging technology and retailing and digitalisation.

“At ATM this year, we are bringing together industry stakeholders and experts to discuss how we can work together to reinvent the future of travel and how emerging technologies such as chatbots and AI will be deployed in travel.” Raymond added. - TradeArabia News Service
