Riyadh airport launches first phase of new duty free store

RIYADH, May 29, 2018

Riyadh Airports, the company that manages and operates the international airport in Riyadh, has launched the first phase of the new duty-free store in the international terminals 1 and 2 at King Khalid International Airport (KKIA), said a report.

The new duty-free store, which will be fully operational by mid-July, includes a range of international brands that meet all passengers’ needs, offering a variety of options at competitive prices, said a report in Saudi Gazette.

The new initiatives are in response to increase passenger movements through the country with further development projects planned across the kingdom's international and domestic airports.

With the introduction of these projects and work on many more underway, the airport is poised to become one of the most important airports in the region, the report said.
