A Qatar Airways plane bound to Tunisia was forced to make an emergency landing in Baku yesterday (May 29) due to engine failure, a report said.

The Airbus A330 aircraft, carrying 137 people on board, made a successful landing at 12:16 (GMT + 4) and all passengers were evacuated to safety, said a report in Azer News.

The Heydar Aliyev International Airport provided all necessary assistance to passengers and crew members, as well as necessary technical support for the aircraft, it said.
