The Merchant House, Bahrain appoints new GM

MANAMA, August 5, 2018

Bahrain’s highly anticipated all-suite hotel, The Merchant House, has appointed Justin Kim as its new general manager.

Kim joins the Campbell Gray Hotels property as part of the opening team and brings with him a wealth of industry experience. In this role, Kim will be responsible for managing the hotel operations and upholding the unparalleled personalised service and guest experience that is synonymous with Campbell Gray Hotels.

No stranger to the GCC, Kim’s previous role was at the W Dubai, Al Habtoor City, as hotel manager, where he was part of the opening team. Prior to this, Kim has held positions in leading international hotel chains including Marriot International, Banyan Tree Hotels, InterContinental Hotels Group and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.

The Merchant House, Manama, Bahrain will be Campbell Gray Hotels’ first property in the GCC following on from the success of Le Gray in Beirut. Located next to the vibrant Bab el-Bahrain Souk, the hotel development comes at an exciting time as the surrounding area is currently being regenerated; re-establishing the prominence of the old Souk and original heart of Manama. Every aspect of The Merchant House has been planned and designed to be fun and relaxed.

Upon joining the all-suite boutique hotel, Kim said: "I am honoured to be a part of Campbell Gray Hotels’ highly talented team of creative and inspiring individuals. There is an increasing demand for individuality, originality and perhaps, most important of all, intelligence, in hotels which The Merchant House recognises. I am looking forward to welcoming guests from across the world to this stunning hotel." - TradeArabia News Service
