New executive chef at Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City

DUBAI, September 3, 2018

Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Media City,  a luxurious hotel in the UAE emirate, has appointed Belal Kattan as its new executive chef.

Belal started his career in his home country before progressing his career through Qatar and Saudi Arabia. He brings a wealth of experience established in the executive role for many years, and a diverse background across the UAE and the Middle East; specialist roles, openings, resort and complex management.  

In his new role, Belal will be responsible for leading the kitchen teams and the hotel’s entire culinary operations, which will include the hotel’s signature restaurant Certo, Chef’s House, Tamanya Terrace and media city’s favourite Sports Bar, Icon Bar. Belal will also oversee the entire meeting and events operations, outside catering and in-room dining.

Born in Syria, Belal found his desire for cooking through his father and uncles.
