The Middle East’s first 25hours Hotel, an upcoming hospitality project by AccorHotels and the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), received top honour at this year’s Cityscape Global Awards, which took place in Dubai on October 2.

The project was presented the Leisure & Hospitality Project Award at the event, which rewards excellence in architecture and design.

One Central, a mixed-use development within the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority (DWTCA) free zone, was also selected as the winner of the Commercial Project Award for its Offices 4 and 5.

DWTC was also highly commended for its Expo 2020 CoEx Campus, within the Community, Culture & Tourism Project category, for Dubai South Mall (developed together with Emaar) within the Retail Project Award category, as well as the first phase of development at Expo Village in the Residential Medium to High Rise Project category.

Commenting on the award wins, Gurjit Singh, Senior Vice President - Real Estate, Dubai World Trade Centre said: “We are honoured that our projects have been identified as best in class developments at Cityscape Global 2018. This year saw some incredibly strong entries in each of the categories, which is a testament to the team’s hard work and dedication. The awards also recognise DWTC’s efforts towards providing a distinctive destination proposition that reaffirms Dubai’s status as a world-class hub for both, business and leisure.” - TradeArabia News Service
