Abu Dhabi airport reports 6m passengers in Q3

ABU DHABI, November 13, 2018

Around six million passengers used the Abu Dhabi International Airport during the third quarter of this year, a report issued by the Abu Dhabi Department of Transport (DoT) said.
 
India was ranked the top destination with more than one million passengers from the country travelling through Abu Dhabi International Airport. This accounted for 16 per cent of the total number of passengers. 
 
The United Kingdom came in second place with 450,000 passengers (7.5 per cent of the total). In the third place is Australia with 350,000 passengers (6 per cent of total). Saudi Arabia and Pakistan came in fourth and fifth places, respectively. From Saudi Arabia, 345,000 passengers (6 per cent) used Abu Dhabi Airport and 300,000 passengers (5 per cent) from Pakistan.
 
The Air Freight Sector transported 140,000 tonnes of different goods with 740 trips between Abu Dhabi and the world.  - TradeArabia News Service
