Bahrain Autumn Fair opens on Jan 23

The Autumn Fair, Bahrain’s largest consumer exhibition, will open this week featuring over 650 exhibitors from 17 countries.

The 30th edition of the Autumn Fair, organised by UBM AEM, will be officially inaugurated under the patronage of the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Zayed R. Alzayani, on January 23 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The nine-day shopping extravaganza will run until January 31 and will treat shoppers to an extensive variety of merchandise from across the globe, including specialty food, fashion, beauty, home décor, technology, toys, textiles and more.

New for 2019, an outdoor Street Food Market will offer hungry visitors a selection of culinary delights from 18 of Bahrain’s finest traders.

“The Autumn Fair is a highly anticipated event in Bahrain’s calendar. The festive atmosphere, wide range of goods and exclusive retail opportunities combine to create a great day out for the whole family,” said UBM AEM project manager Yaqoob Ali.

“Visitors will discover new to market goods and tried and tested favourites at competitive prices from both local, regional and international exhibitors when they converge in Bahrain for the retail event of the year,” he continued.

Entry and timings

Entry to the Autumn Fair 2019 is BD1 ($2.6). Tickets can be purchased during opening hours from kiosks at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre. Children under the age of 12 years will be admitted free of charge.

The exhibition will open to the public from 12 pm–10 pm on January 23; 10 am–2 pm and 4 pm–10 pm on January 24; 12 pm–10 pm on January 25; 10 am–2 pm and 4 pm–10 pm on January 26, 27, 28 and 29; and 10 am–10 pm on January 30 and 31.

On January 27 and 28, from 10 am–2 pm the exhibition will open to ladies only. - TradeArabia News Service
