Etihad Airways win Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award

Etihad Airways Engineering, commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul services provider in the Middle East, has been awarded the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) in the Silver category. 
 
Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, chairman of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Court presented the awards at the 17th edition of SKEA held at Abu Dhabi’s Emirates Palace on April 22. This recognition highlights Etihad Airways Engineering’s significant achievements, strong leadership and commitment to continuous improvement and people development.
 
Abdul Khaliq Saeed, Etihad Airways Engineering chief executive officer, said: “We are proud to be recognised for our achievements as a result of the hard work, dedication and commitment of our entire team. We remain focused on innovating to deliver exceptional customer service and operational excellence. This award is a testament to our ongoing efforts to support Abu Dhabi and the UAE’s vision to become a global aerospace hub.”
 
The awards, established by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ADCCI) in 1999, aim to enhance competitiveness in the business sector in Abu Dhabi, and the wider UAE, by recognising the city’s most highly regarded companies. The assessment includes an extensive application process followed by a two-day onsite evaluation carried out by official assessors. –TradeArabia News Service
