Grand Millennium Dubai announces new mobile app

Grand Millennium Dubai, the five-star property of Millennium Hotels & Resorts, located in Barsha Heights, has announced the launch of its very own app Grand Millennium Dubai.

Designed to address the needs of the guests' pre, during and post-arrival at the hotel, the app offers 'Special App Only' discounts and provides information on the hotel’s amenities and the surrounding area.

Available to download for free on both Apple and Android, Grand Millennium Dubai app allows guests and visitors to directly contact the hotel for on-spot reservations for a room, dining or spa treatments. The app also features a city-guide to keep visitors informed of the latest happenings in the city including events, entertainment and shopping fiesta. An image gallery offers a 360-degree view of the spaces at the hotel.

Oussama Chalak, general manager, said: “Mobile apps are leading the way in customer engagement practice for hospitality brands. The app gives the brand the ability to stay connected with their guests from a device that they always have on them. We are sure the launch of this app will revolutionise the hotel stay experience for our guests.”

The app will also showcase digital menus to order from the in-room dining service as well as allow guests to book a meeting or conference room along with an option to list down special requirements for the meeting to ensure they have everything they need. Requests for a personal trainer, yoga instructor or an EMS Trainer can also be placed through the mobile application, allowing clients to schedule their own appointment times conveniently online. Rental cars with special deals are also listed on the app giving the guests flexibility to rent cars right from the comfort of their hotel room.

Feras Al Sadek, head of marketing, added: “We have developed an extremely user-friendly interface with an elegant design to help our guests make reservations or get information from the comfort of their smartphones. Visitors can also take a virtual tour of the property showcasing the hotel’s luxurious features and amenities. In-house guests will have the convenience of placing the request to refill the minibar through the convenience of their smartphones, also request for bathroom amenities, travel adaptors or laundry services, etc. can be placed through the app.  Issues such as any of the room amenities not working or if they would like to speak to the manager can all be addressed through the mobile application. With the adaptation of the new technology, the hotel aims to make the stay extremely convenient and comfortable. We will be continuously striving to develop the app and make it available in multiple languages for the convenience of all our guests.”

The hotel’s “Just Ask”, a WhatsApp service for guests to communicate directly with the hotel, is also a part of the mobile application.
