Bride Abu Dhabi opens is spectacular style

ABU DHABI, June 27, 2019

This year’s edition of Bride Abu Dhabi is officially open. Excited onlookers, including fashion-savvy women, brides-to-be, members of the media and very special guests gathered to watch Reed Hamad Al Sheryani Al Dhaheri, board member of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Al Reem Mubarak Al Ameri, business relations of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Nehayan and business development manager of Universal Group Holding, cut the ribbon to declare the event officially open at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) on June 26.

Day 1 of Bride Abu Dhabi 2019 saw visitors take full advantage of exclusive deals on the latest bridal, Arabic and Indian fashions, haute couture, and dazzling jewellery, along with a huge selection of fashion, beauty, health and luxury innovations. Expectations were not only met, but exceeded, as visitors were captivated by breathtaking fashion shows and intriguing demos at the main stage and runway, along with meet-and-greets with a host of industry experts and popular influencers.

Opening Day Highlights
Visitors flocked in their droves to the Bride Main Stage and Runway in the Secret Garden for a spectacular schedule of stunning fashion shows from Lamia Abi Nader, Apple Wang, Mariam Al Khalaf, D-Line by Lee, and GR Abaya by Ahqui.

Spectators were also able to make the most of a variety of insightful and entertaining demonstrations, tips, workshops and guides, including ‘Why Blu Chocolate is Healthy’, ‘Modern Bridal Makeup by Soraya Shawky’, ‘Posing to Perfection by Qomrah Photography’, and ‘Dans with a Difference’.

Bride Abu Dhabi 2019’s opening day also saw visitors embrace a world of amazing options on offer as they browsed through the specially designated zones and marvelled at exclusive deals from more than 100 regional and international brands. Expert style consultants and popular influencers such as Mariam Al Yassi, Maitha Mohammed, Al Reem Saif, Sabah Abdullah Al Rumaithi, Amal Abdullah, Reem Al Qasimi, and Khaleeji Weddings were on hand to give their tops tips and advice, along with top celebrity make-up artists Laure Sejean and Soraya Shawky.

There was fun for all the family at the Kids Zone, where Golden Kids Entertainment and Build-A-Bear Workshop provided endless excitement for all the little ones in attendance. Plenty of hungry visitors were only too happy to indulge in delicious dishes from Ben’s Cookies, House of Pops, Jetlag Café, Katrina Sweets, and more at the Food Village, while the Tips & Toes Nail Bar proved a big hit with women in search of all-over pampering sessions.

What to look forward to on Day 2
There’s so much more to get excited about on Day 2 of Bride Abu Dhabi 2019, with another magical line-up of fabulous fashion shows, featuring captivating collections from the likes of Dojon by Nisrine, Mariam Al Khalaf, Al Daker Couture, Daisy Bridal – Pret Couture, and Atelier Zuhra.

In addition, a host of educational, entertaining and enriching demonstrations, such as ‘Beauty and Health: The Importance of Physical Activity and Smart Nutritional Approaches by Christian Wunscher’, ‘Chiropractors Adjustments and Back Pain Alignment’, ’10 Guides for Our Great Brides by Qomrah Photography’ and the ‘Pre and Post Wedding Workout with Royal Gym’, are set light up the main stage on Day 2.

Popular influencers and style consultants Soraya Shawky, Laure Sejean and Khaleeji Weddings will also be appearing on the second day of Bride Abu Dhabi 2019 to meet with fans and offer their invaluable knowledge and expertise.
