Royal Caribbean to bring bespoke cruise experience to GCC

DUBAI, August 15, 2019

Royal Caribbean, one of the leading cruising companies in the world, is preparing to bring its world-renowned sea experience to the GCC region as the cooler season is getting closer.

Starting from December, the Jewel Of The Seas will be offering three different cruises, each lasting for seven nights and visiting a few of the most sparkling ports in the region.

Departing from Dubai, Royal Caribbean’s homeport in the GCC, Jewel Of The Seas will embark on her first journey sailing to Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas Island, and Muscat before returning to Dubai. The tour that lasts for seven nights starts on December 16 and ends on December 23 with prices starting from $499 dollars for an interior stateroom. The same route will be available to be booked on seven different starting dates with an option on December 30 should travellers wish to welcome the new year while at sea.

The Jewel Of The Seas offers the same level of excitement at sea that Royal Caribbean is famous for. With many accommodation options, vacationers will be able to choose what fits with their plans. Rooms are available under four main categories: Interior, which offers an array of amenities for the whole family to enjoy; Ocean View, for those who savour the seascape and views of landscapes from shore to shore; Balcony, offering to connect with the ocean breeze just outside the rooms; and the Suite, which comes with extra space, more amenities and breath-taking views. The ship also caters for the different needs of travellers, whether they are families exploring the seas with their babies, or couples going on their honeymoon. In addition, the Jewel Of The Seas is equipped to accommodate travellers with special needs, and offers 24-hour room service.

The Jewel Of The Seas offers exclusive at-sea experiences at any given time; day or night. Thanks to its wide array of onboard attractions, dining options, family-friendly activities and shows travellers will always find an excuse to elevate their vacation mood. Jewellery making workshops, culinary and Sushi making classes, language tutorials, theme nights and outdoor movie nights are key highlights onboard the ship. Also, there are many sports facilities such as mini golf court, table tennis, rock climbing wall, sports court and fitness classes for those who wish to keep their gym routine while travelling. For a more relaxing experience, the Vitality Spa offers dream-like treatments to help passengers destress, boost their energy level, rejuvenate, and unwind while listening to the sound of the waves.

When it comes to culinary delights travellers will have the chance to explore the world dish by dish. Thanks to eight different dining options and five bars and lounges there is hardly any taste that can’t be found onboard the Jewel Of The Seas. Young travellers also have their own share of fun onboard the ship as there are many activities for them to enjoy. Based on the age range, parents can choose where to leave their children to play, learn and enjoy their free time.

The sailing season for the Jewel Of The Seas starts from December 16 to March 16, 2020. The ship will embark on journeys visiting the UAE, Oman and Bahrain, among other GCC countries. - TradeArabia News Service
