Abu Dhabi Airports marks Oman National Day

ABU DHABI, November 18, 2019

Abu Dhabi Airports is celebrating Oman National Day today at Abu Dhabi International Airport, treating all departing and arriving passengers travelling between the Omani capital, Muscat and Abu Dhabi with complimentary gifts.

Customer service agents across Abu Dhabi International Airport will offer all passengers travelling on Muscat services with Oman-themed pin badges and scarves to mark the special day.

Today, Etihad Airways, Oman Air and Salaam Air passengers booked on services between Abu Dhabi and Oman’s capital city will also be treated to complimentary refreshments in departures and arrivals. Airport staff will offer Arabic coffee and Omani Halwa for all passengers, reflecting Abu Dhabi’s unique brand of warm Arabian hospitality.

Bryan Thompson, chief executive officer at Abu Dhabi Airports, said: “The UAE and Sultanate of Oman enjoy a close relationship that is also important to us. We extend our warm hand in providing our neighbours and passengers with a special taste of our unique brand of Arabian hospitality for Oman National Day."
