Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar unveils special offer for GCC residents

MUSCAT, 28 days ago

As Oman eases its border restrictions and reopens for international tourists, Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort welcomes tourists back to the fabled ‘Green Mountain’ with exclusive discounts for all GCC residents.

Located at 2,000m above sea level, the luxury resort is the perfect getaway to reset and rejuvenate from these past months of stress and turmoil. "Breathe in endless fresh mountain air, witness dramatic and breathtaking canyon views, experience the time-honoured tradition of Omani hospitality and indulge in exciting escapades with an exclusive offer tailored to the most discerning of travellers," says the resort.

Guests can stay in one of 115 luxury rooms and villas that overlook the dramatic canyon, tranquil gardens and even boasts a private temperature-controlled infinity pool. The offer also includes daily breakfast and dinner at Al Maisan, otherwise known as ‘The Rising Star’ which features an elegant indoor dining area and a spacious outdoor terrace offering the perfect setting to soak in the views of the vast canyon surrounding the resort. Additionally, guests can also select any of the adventure experiences to get their hearts pumping; from wadi hikes and mountain biking to the newest Jabal Activity Wall for a mountain climbing and zipline challenge or opt for a more relaxing activity including a tour of the organic gardens or a three village culture walk.

Residents from the UAE can discover this secluded haven by taking an adventurous four and half hour drive in a 4x4 vehicle, whilst witnessing some date plantations, dry riverbeds known locally as wadis as well as the historical forts along the way. The UAE and Oman share multiple border crossings for those travelling by road from any emirate such as the Al Wajajah, Al Madheef, and Hatta/Oman border posts, making travel simple yet enjoyable.

With a commitment to safeguard the health and wellbeing of its team members and guests, and as a part of the recently launched Anantara ‘Stay with Peace of Mind’ programme, the resort has implemented new and enhanced procedures in compliance with the highest governmental and international hygiene standards. From digital check-in and checkouts to the thorough sanitation and disinfection of luggage, cars and rooms prior and after guests’ stay.

The documents required include: passport (with 6 months validity), e-visa, emirates ID, car registration and insurance card.

The GCC residents' Escape offer includes: 30% savings on accommodation in a room or villa; daily breakfast and dinner in Al Maisan; 15% savings on restaurant dining (excluding alcohol and tobacco); 15% savings on selected activities; and international travellers will receive a resort credit of OR25 per nights. The offer is valid till December 20, 2021. Rates start from OR120++ . - TradeArabia News Service
