Farnek Avireal wins green FM award

Farnek Avireal, a leading property and facilities management company, has been named Green FM Company of the Year for 2011/12 by FM Middle East magazine.

Farnek Avireal is also the Middle East partner of world-leading tourism sector sustainability programme Green Globe.

The company was honoured for its achievements in the tourism sector, particularly its successes implementing the Green Globe Certification programme in 20 Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts across the Middle East.

The initiative has already seen energy savings of Dh2.5 million ($680,000) with per annum water usage alone reduced by the equivalent of 52 Olympic-sized swimming pools. – TradeArabia News Service
