DIP tower commissioning services on track

Dubai Investment Properties (DIP), a leading real estate developer, has begun the commissioning of services for its latest commercial development Single Business Tower, and will all services up and running by middle of next month.

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa), Etisalat, Civil Defence and Dubai Municipality have confirmed the dates for inspection, a statement said.

The services being commissioned at ‘Single Business Tower’ include setting up the internal and external cabling work for Etisalat landlines and GSM connectivity, A/C systems, elevators, fire alarm systems, access control systems, power and lighting systems, sound systems, external window-cleaning systems and waste disposal systems.

The testing of BMS (building management system) is being done currently. Apart from the above services, the testing and commissioning of Dewa connections and all MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) services has also been completed.

“Single Business Tower is in its last stages of completion. Most of the services have been set up and tested and we are awaiting final inspection from Dewa, Etisalat, Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence authorities by next month,” said Ani Vladi, property manager of Single Business Tower.

“All our systems will be up and running by mid-December and we will be able to begin our leasing process. We have followed all the green building guidelines to make Single Business Tower energy efficient and have invested in the latest and best technologies to compliment a functional business environment,” he added.

Single Business Tower, which is located off Sheikh Zayed Road, features 248 modern offices and retail spaces over 45 floors, common areas and service outlets that have been designed keeping in mind the latest trends in modern and functional interior set up.

DIP will also offer tenants reception and concierge services, a fully furnished conference room, business lounge, prayer rooms and a gymnastic room. The new development is equipped with advance surveillance and fire protection systems to ensure the security and safety of tenants at all times.

The development also includes a multi-level car park building for tenants as well as visitors, business services and 24/7 security and facilities management services. – TradeArabia News Service
