SAP names Saudi managing director
Riyadh:

SAP has appointed Abdul-Raheem Bawazeer as managing director for Saudi Arabia operations.

Bawazeer will be based at SAP’s Riyadh office, and will be responsible for overseeing the company’s operations in the strategically important Saudi market, including customer and partner engagements, sales, and services. He will be reporting to Claas Kuehnemann, managing director, South East Europe and Middle East.

“Bawazeer is an experienced leader and brings sound in-depth knowledge of the Saudi business landscape to his new role,” said Kuehnemann.

Bawazeer brings strong proficiency to this new position, having held various senior executive roles in the kingdom over the past 20 years. Prior to this position, Bawazeer served as general manager of Saudi Arabia at Dell Middle East for four years, spent six years at Hewlett Packard in a range of leadership roles and worked at Microsoft Arabia for two years.

Bawazeer holds a BS degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. He is fluent in both Arabic and English.-TradeArabia News Service
